The Polo Lounge opened its doors a little over ten years ago, slowly and surely garnering an eclectic crowd, enviable respect and reputation throughout the UK. Hints of the original ornate finishing of the once Scottish Mutual Society can still be seen amongst the mix of hip party goers in the upstairs lounge.

Offering sumptious surroundings, fine wines, class cocktails and a wide selection of world beers, the Polo serves only the best. Team that with winning entertainment every night, including our DJ line up monday and tuesday, Taste on wednesdays with all drinks @ £1, £2 on thursdays at the late lounge till 3am. Weekends bring only the cream of Glagows gay revellers.

Every month we bring you the best in Upfront Dance/Chart PA's in - from Number 1 chart topper, Basshunter to chart dominators Booty Luv, old favs JX and their fab dancers to Freemasons, Michelle McManus (oor fav)! Look out for the best acts in 2009 !

MONDAY
After a busy weekend, come and unwind with us infront of the fire, or start the party in Moda (with extensive cocktails and shooters) . Pints Fosters at £1.80 vodka /mix at £1.80, cocktails from £2, and fabulous fishbowls!!!
TUESDAY

WEDNESDAY
Wednesday nights are "Taste" with DJ Steven from 9pm. Just when you thought Polo Promos couldnt get any better?! All Drinks £1 !! Going from strength to strength Open til 3am join us for a plethora of musical randomness!! Anything goes on a Wednesday! Free entry AND all drinks are only £1!! Only premium promos @ POLO!!
THURSDAY
Moda from 5pm, come get your faby fishbowls, Sexy cocktails, and other saucy treats!! DJ in Moda from 9pm playing all of the best in funky house and tip-top beats!
Join DJ Suave Gav in The Lounge from 9pm, playing chart/cheese, or knowing Gav, he'll give you exactly what you want. And don't forget drinks at £2, start your weekend madness early!
FRIDAY
The weekend starts here!! The Lounge is open from 5pm and The Club from 11pm til 3am. Join DJ Steven in The Club for an indie, pop, dance, RnB, chart, house!! From Daft Punk to Girls Aloud, you'll be dancing all night. Or if you like your music a bit more retro, join DJ Suave Gav in The Trophy Room for a night of camp and cheese! You'll dance to songs you (wish you) forgot and join in the party atmosphere!! Accept no substitute, THE place to be seen, Polo!! Don't forget your limited passes available from Delmonicas after 11pm.
SATURDAY
Stepping up a notch, DJ Leah is in The Club from 11pm til 3am. Playing all the best in dance, funky house and a bit of old school for all you our for the best night out! Alternatively, join the party in The Trophy Room. DJ Suave Gav playing all the best in 80s and 90s classic tunes. The biggest party night on the scene! Don't forget your limited passes available from Delmoncas after 11pm.
SUNDAY
The Weekend ends with a Bang!! Open from 9pm til 3am and selected drinks from £1.50. DJ Leah is in The Club for an all singing, all dancing night of camp, pop fun!! Its a night where, musically, anything goes! With everything from Madonna to Sister Act, from Pink to Chicago!! Rouge your knees and getting your stockings down!! Get your ass down here!! Limited Passes from Dels available.

First Sunday of every month is Glasgow only gay R&B night, Durty Disco!!! Join DJ Devine as he takes on a hot, and sweaty ride! Keep an eye out for VIP invites and other goodies!!!

      To the little Neanderthal who felt the need to make a nasty comment as I left Polo on Sunday night. I would like to thank you for spoiling what was a fun night with friends. I really weary of narrow minded people like you especially when its in establishments like the Polo Lounge where acceptance and diversity should be the norm. I understand the fear of what you don’t understand but why the anger?
      I personally don’t care what a person is. I mostly admire a person for facing up to bigotry.
      I am tired of justifying myself to people like you but would much prefer if you actually made the effort to talk to me rather than judge. I am trying hard not to let people like you stopping me from living my life as I please. I doubt if your brain cells will stretch to reading this but I live in hope and feel better for getting this off my chest.
